Victory!

In a surprise move, FC K Street outflanked the enemy, taking quick control of the game on successive scores in the opening minutes. Falling so quickly to nil-2 only seemed to enrage the other team, who played the rest of the half with aggression and before now unseen tactics, such as the keeper taking the ball from his goal into our territory as our jaws fell open in disbelief.

Halftime came, and we overheard the other team talking about how fresh they were and how this was their half. Little did we relaize that they had hatched a diabolical plan: take out Amber. Well I have news for them: Amber teaches teenagers. She is TOUGH. Like that dragon from Shrek. TOUGH.

Their plan in ruins, they nevertheless scored a goal in the 50-some minute of the game, but it wasn't enough, as the K Street D played a tight game, shutting down yet another triple threat from yet another team that seemed to be at least a foot taller than our D. As explained by William Wallace (aka Alex), "I may not be able to out jump them, but I can sure as hell push them out of the way."

After it was over, there were smiles all around. Like the Scots at Stirling. Maybe next time we'll pillage the surrounding village...
